Frances Cooley

Frances originally trained as a graphic designer and illustrator but has always had a love affair with food.

Family

“I come from a big family and food was always a part of life, I can remember cooking my first profiterole when I was about nine years old.”

“When the children came along I decided to take a step back from my career but carried on cooking in the home.”

The Shop

After 10 years of working at home the decision was made for the start of a new era for the business, with the opening of a new shop in the College Green area of the city.

There were many happy and hectic years growing the business in this shop with a team of highly skilled staff creating delicious bespoke cakes, chocolate gifts, running a huge variety of workshops and a luxurious café.

The Decision

We then came to the decision to reorganise the company to solely making chocolate gifts and running workshops at new venues.
